This one might be silly but I'm looking for a book where the character is a professional mermaid. Not like a paranormal or Scifi read where they're actually a mermaid but they buy fins, cool accessories, etc and perform as a mermaid at aquariums, events, etc.
I follow a couple of professional mermaids on IG and wondered if there were any books with characters like that.
Can be any genre but I prefer some romance.
I also feel like I read a YA book where one of the side plots was that two girls were applying for the same job of being a mermaid for maybe kids parties or something?
Any recommendations are always appreciated!
