I have just finished reading this book. My jaw is on the floor. What a well-written, twisty, gripping story! It had me enthralled from the first chapter and I could not put this book down at all.

I will admit, I had an inkling early on that Ted had some sort of Dissociative Identity Disorder with the way Lauren and Olivia tended to "disappear" from each other and had no interaction with the outside world. But I was not expecting the torture that Ted's mother inflicted upon him and the role that Dee played in her own sister's disapperance. Absolutely jaw-dropping and I read until my eyes couldn't stay open.

I have never read anything by Catriona Ward before but will absolutely be reading more of her stuff in the future. It's been a long time since a book has had me reading so relentlessly over a few days. Just incredible.

That book freaked me out so bad I couldn’t finish it. But I liked Little Eve and Sundial by Catriona Ward. None of them were as disturbing as Last House

    2. It really was an excellent book. When they revealed Olivia was Ted I nearly fell out of my chair. I thought they were going to be like imaginary friends or something.
