Hi, it's me again. 🙂 I'm looking this time for books that feel like you've taken a trip to a particular place and time, like when you're reading the book, you're right there. Landscapes and well-developed characters are absolutely a plus. Genre is not a big concern here. I've enjoyed the worlds of the Foundation series and Tolkien's Middle-Earth as much as I have Jan Karon's Mitford and Donna Leon's Venice.
