Just started Pillars of the Earth not sure I want to continue it though, seems more genre fictiony than I’m into.
So yeah I’m looking for more historical fiction that isn’t in the icky genre fiction vein. Alison Weir and Bernard Cromwell and the Sheldrake series give off a genre fiction vibe am I wrong?
