I'm looking for very specific kinds of romance books.
I wanna read about a female protagonist who's sick (physically/mentally) or dealing with a chronic illness and is therefore guarded because people might cross her boundaries and hurt her. Books that are about meeting welcoming people and finding supportive lovers.
I know there's books with sick female protagonist trope but I want to avoid anything with enemies to lovers, rival to lovers dynamics or the kind of banter scenes where one's trying to get a reaction out of the other (puts a bad taste in my mouth reading that)
