I’m on a fae kick right now. I loved the ACOTAR series, and just got done reading an ARC for Filthy Rich Fae. I’m such a mood reader, and have tried to start several books but nothing is clicking. What are your best romantasy reads suggestions?

    Also have already read FW/IF.

I highly recommend Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett but romance is a subplot. The story follows a Cambridge professor and the world’s leading expert on faeries, as she travels to a remote northern village to research and compile the final entries for her encyclopaedia of faeries. In the village, she encounters fae creatures and a mysterious, handsome academic rival who complicates her research. The book masterfully blends academic curiosity with a whimsical, magical world and a touch of romance. Plus, the second part was released this year, and I devoured it! If you enjoy books with magical elements and romantic subplots, you’ll like this one.

    2. A Fragile Enchantment by Allison Saft

Half a Soul by Olivia Atwater

An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson

Cruel Prince by Holly Black, but it’s very much a political intregue book with a romantic subplot rather than a romance
