You really helped me last time I posted here and I read the first four books of the Murderbot series which so many people suggested. It was really good. The only thing I missed a bit was a little bit more of a emotional connection between the main character and other people. A real friendship or love.
I don't fault the book for that because that's what it's about and it's not like the book is not emotional but it still left me wanting. What I liked most were the interactions with people and the fight scenes. What I liked least were the parts where he was hiding and sneaking around all alone and how the first three books kinda had the same formula where he had to interact with something new again and restart that process instead of further developing the previous relationships. The last book was great because he reunited with the characters from the first book and not new ones again.
These are just my thought as a book newbie and maybe I don't understand something quite right.
I saw that there are more books in the series, maybe they explore further in that direction? Please let me know.
Any Genre except a Western please. If you need more info, a lot of that is in my last Post here or ask away.
