What are non-fiction books you think a 16-19 year old should and could/want to read?

I’m in a search slump and cannot, for the life of me, find any books work buying in the non-fiction category that isn’t on the top seller list and involve questionable attitudes towards people and things with misanthropic undertones and guides on how to repress emotions.

I’m a librarian for school kids ages 16-19 (some 15 year old may exist) and I know the books I think are awesome… but that’s not exactly the criteria to buy books. There are some categories that are school specific (ie like study design and methodology and regarding subjects) BUT I want fun interesting life changing or entertaining books that older teens could enjoy.

I would especially love if you have science, technology, environmental, mathematic, history (not US history), ethnography, and more serious books on economics and entrepreneurship (not the booktok ones).

But really, ANY non-fiction including biographies and mishmash things. Would love your favorite any that loosely fit!
