I finished Better Call Saul recently and it’s left a large, sleazy, lawyer-shaped hole in my heart. Looking for something that can fill the void. I know that a big part of what makes BCS great is the cinematography and visual storytelling, but I figured there were probably some books that could scratch the itch. I don’t want specifically cartel and lawyer stories. I think that stuff is cool, but it isn’t what I find most appealing about the series. I want something that focuses on deep characters and relationships. Jimmy and Kim’s relationship and watching them both change was by far my favorite part of the show, so I’m looking for something with similar vibes. I read mostly fantasy but I’m open to any genre!
