Hi, I’m looking for books about how incarcerated mothers (more specifically, mothers who have been incarcerated for drug use/possession) fare in and out of the justice system. There are a ton of books on male prisoners, but very few about women. This seems like such a gap but I’ve spent the last two hours looking and have only found two books that fit the bill. Please help! I’m looking for more information on what my mom must have gone through when she was imprisoned and we were separated from her.
