Hey everyone, I was wondering what books from the classics were actually worth reading. I love to read, but am not a very good reader, I know that some classics can be a difficult read due to language used. I was wondering what ones were worth the effort and what ones I shouldn't bother with. Thanks 🙂

Try short ones like Frankenstein, Lady Susan and Picture of Dorian Grey.
I personally hated Lady of Camellias but I think there are people who like it.
Anna Karenina is long and explains farming in Russia and whatnot so yeah. Secondary love couple was adorable and saved the book for me
Give **The Count of Monte Cristo** and **Dracula** a shot. Avoid **Don Quixote**.
If you want to get through a story but are having a hard time actually reading it, try the audiobook version.
I think most of the classics are worth reading. They’re usually classics for a reason.
One classic book that I really enjoy is Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. It’s a shorter book (less than 100 pages) and is considered one of the most influential works of short fiction.
Jane Eyre is great for starters
