What do you do with “controversial” books you already own?

My mum and I are both book collectors and between us we have a pretty large collection. We recently moved and while organising our book shelves I came across an Agatha Christie book with quite a shocking title. For those who don’t know the book has been renamed a few times and is currently titled “And Then There Were None” but we own a copy with the original title (I’m not going to write it here but you can look it up if you don’t already know what it is). When I asked my mum why she has it she said she bought it when she was a teen living in Germany and didn’t know what the title meant at the time, she put it away and forgot about it. So my question is, what do I do with it? I am very agains throwing away books, but this isn’t something I can donate, I also don’t really want it in my house. Should I just throw it out or is there another solution? If you’ve ever had a “controversial” book, what have you done with it?
