Hello everyone, in my friend group I’m the bookworm. It’s become a custom for me to gift books. I have a friend who’s about to leave home for the just time, a couple weeks after her birthday. Anyone have any suggestions for a comfort book that may include themes of
– coming of age
– leaving home and coming back stronger
– independence

Kiki’s Delivery Service by Eiko Kadono.
Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell was such a comforting read for me. It was like crawling under a warm blanket every time I opened the book. I’m not sure if you can tell but I loved reading it. Literally put a smile on my face.
