so i have actually never read a horror book before, but figured i might give it a shot since its my favorite genre in other media. the thing is i dont exactly know how to describe my taste in horror. Im looking for something with like a silent hill vibe, where the horror comes from the character being in a constant state of panic due to the unexplainable and unnatural souroundings and creatures. stuff like the blair withch project movies are also up my alley, because of the whole unexplainable time/area loop and general feeling of helplessnes. The genral aspect of helplessnes against supernatural creatures is quite cool imo, which is why i dislike psychokiller stuff. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
