I’m currently listening to An Immense World by Ed Yong. It’s about animal senses and how they use them. The section I’m on is about surface vibrations. A lot of the research in this area is relatively new (within the last 50-70 years). I was just thinking I might need to check out the print version of the book because, if it’s thoroughly indexed, I wouldn’t mind having a copy to reread certain parts from time to time when my brain did a record scratch and it felt like everything stopped. My brain practically yelled, “DUNE!”. I immediately had to stop and look up when Dune was published (came out in serial form in 1963) which then led to researching whether or not Herbert had a scientific background.

Not sure why I can’t make a post but I really need help finding a book here is the description:

I read this really interesting book years ago and I cannot stop thinking about it now. This is a thriller book and the way the book ended suggested a possible part 2, yet I CANNOT find the title of the first book.
When I was a child(I am 14 now) I read a book about thus dad bringing his kid(s) to this “haunted” hotel to film a show. While filming, it is revealed that a criminal was faking the hauntings to stay hidden at the hotel. There were some supernatural incidents that cannot be explained. And the mention of a specific name. At the end of the story it is revealed that the name was of a woman who had died(?) At the hotel long ago and it was really a ghost. The story ended with something along the lines of. “I think we need a season 2 for this show”.

It is currently 1.19am and I HAVE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE FOR THIS BOOK. Pleaseeee if anyone knows the title please tell me.
