I want a book that goes from 0 to 1000 throughout its narrative, that maybe would start with a small hero or a small story but become bigger and bigger the more it progresses, until it gets to an epic proportion. I mainly search for fantasy (high or low doesn't really matter to me) and something with a lot of action. I don't have any problem with it maybe being YA, although I mostly prefer the more dark and adult YA stories over the mainly childish ones.

The Dandelion Dynasty by Ken Liu fits perfectly, and honestly, if you’re up to trying a science fiction title, The Remembrance of Earth’s Past trilogy by Cixin Liu would also fit. Incidentally, the latter is also translated by Ken Liu, and despite the similar surname, they are not related.
