Lost my four-legged beautiful baby boy yesterday and I usually read as an outlet.
Anyone have any suggestions? I’m not fussed when it comes to fiction/non-fiction.
If fiction, I’d like a book that writes about the MC and how they handle “that” decision, plus how they cope with life after the fact – no cliches, just wish for something beautifully written, even if it’s the good, the bad and the ugly.

Marley and Me by John Grogan
The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein (both of those had movies but the book was better.)
The Cat and the Curmudgeon by Cleveland Amory. (non-fiction).
I second The Art of Racing in the Rain!
Not the Kristi Noem one by the sounds of things.
