This has been near impossible to find!

1. Swords/spells for hire group that take on any dangerous job from treasure hunts to assassinations

   1. Story that deals with the minutia economics of this trade. (Negotiating pay, buying supplies, risking your neck for extra treasure in a dangerous dungeon, etc)

2. Please not an army regiment or anything focused on war and military. I want more odd jobs

3. Good prose

4. Good character development

5. Page turner

Does this exist or am I asking the impossible?
