Good afternoon y’all,
I recently graduated from university and lost touch with reading for pleasure. Now that I can read anything instead of textbooks, I was looking for suggestions of books about protagonists who have been presented difficult situations. These could be stories ranging from the beginning of human existence up to and including present day.
I remember reading a book about 15-20 years ago as a child. The story was about a nephilim in modern times and his struggles. I wish I remember the name of the book. If someone knows what I’m talking about please help me find it again 🫶.
I am open to many other books which y’all may think would be similar.
Next up reads for me are: “The Song of Achilles”, and “Circe”. Anything similar is also welcome!
Themes: Greek/Roman Mythology (all myths really).
Soldier’s accounts of their struggles.
