I'm (29F) having cancer surgery in a few weeks. I will be in the hospital for a few nights and then have about a 4 week recovery. I shockingly am pretty caught up on my TBR so I am in desperate need of recommendations.

I love anything other than horror/thrillers. My favorite are historical fictions, but I'm really just looking to crowd source books people loved to read.

    Drop your favorite reads!

    Thanks!

I hope your surgery and recovery go smoothly! 💗

If you like British humor and historical settings, P.G. Wodehouse’s novels might be a good fit. They all have happy endings, and you can read them in basically any order. The Code of the Woosters might be a good place to start.

If you like historical romances, Georgette Heyer’s novels would be perfect. I usually recommend starting with Arabella, but most of her books are also great. Her characters are very lovable.
