I’ve always loved stories with vampires of any kind in them, but right now I feel like I can’t really find new recommendations on the subject. Any help? If possible, I would love it if the story didn’t revolve around a relationship, but if there really is a romantic vampire novel you’re enjoyed reading don’t hesitate to recommend it!

Other than the Twilight Series, the only book I’ve read – that featured a vampire (Vlad the Impaler, to be exact) – is [The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30236962-the-historian). The two are like night and day (pun intended), and if I had to choose between Twilight and the Historian, I would go for the Historian, hands down.
