Hi Guys,
This year I'm trying to get back into reading fiction after almost exclusively buying non fiction over the past few years. I absolutely love the Stand by Stephen King and am almost finished Station Eleven after seeing it pop up in here as a suggestion a few times and that's been excellent escapism too. I'm looking for some more books similar to these ones with a preference for anything in the post apocalyptic or science fiction genre. What do you suggest?

Seed to Harvest duology by Octavia Butler
Broken Earth triology by N.K Jemisin
MaddAddam triology by Margaret Atwood
The Day of the Triffids, The Kraken Wakes and The Chrysalids by John Wyndham
The Water Knife, Wind-Up Girl and Ship Breaker series by Paolo Bacigalupi
I haven’t read either of the two books you mentioned but …
Hugh Howey’s **Wool** is set far after the apocalypse. It’s the first in his *Silo* trilogy but stands alone. It is long due to the very descriptive imagery he presents.
Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler
Justin Cronin’s The Passage.
Chuck Wendig’s Wanderers.
