I’m very new to reading. What are some easy-read fiction books you would suggest reading as a hard copy?

I am very new to the world of reading. So far I’ve “read” a small number of audiobooks and have really been enjoying it. I’m keen to try reading a physical book. I’m looking for an exciting storyline but something short as a starter!
