Ok so I’m looking for something not where the world almost ends (again), but where it actually does.
And everything restarts.
What I’m really looking for is stuff like Evangelion, wolfs reign, etc where is got some weird stuff in it. Bonus points for being moody.
I just want to write some really big stuff and I feel alone. : (
The closest I have found is The Magicians Book 2 I think where fillory ends, and The Broken Earth trilogy

It’s sort of a spoiler, but between >!”Destination: Void”!< by Frank Herbert and its sequel >!”The Jesus Incident”!<, the world ends and re-plays multiple times. This impacts the storyline of >!”The Jesus Incident”!<, the protagonist is from our-earth and has to deal with the slightly altered people from other-earths, as they try to stop a PERMANENT end. There are actually two more sequels, but I haven’t read them and couldn’t tell you if the world ends again.
>!Borne!< by Jeff VanderMeer also eventually reveals that it’s taking place in one of multiple destroyed worlds (due to parallel dimensions, not timeline shifts).
