I recently started teaching pre-K and would like some chapter book suggestions to read to them. I was going to read the first few Sisters Grimm (the first few are more tame) books because I fell in love with them as they were read to me as a child but even with me abridging them as I read I feel they are still a bit too much. (probably appropriate for 2nd and up) So I need some suggestions for things to read to them, I will be reading so they can be above their reading level just within that maturity range.
