I used to be a massive reader, reading 1-3 books a week until my early 20s. Over the last few years, I just struggle to read the same way that I used to.

I’d love some suggestions for books that are good “gateway” books to get me reading again.

I’ll really read anything, but my preferred genres are definitely fantasy, surrealism, and postmodern fiction. Big Sanderson fan, DFW, Alan Moore (Jerusalem), Pahlaniuk are all authors that I like.

Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold. Also try looking at your phone less. I got an app that helped me cut down.
