Books/Authors like A.G. Riddle

I read Lost in Time by A.G. Riddle over the winter and recommended it to someone who loved it.

Now they want a list of science fiction from me, but I haven't read all that much science fiction yet (though I want to!). 😅

I would love some suggestions that are similar! The plot itself doesn't need to be similar, but I like Riddle's writing. It's engaging (especially for a modern author. I usually prefer older books), and it has very little profanity or other commonly objectionable content that might make me hesitate to suggest it to someone else.
