I have a trip coming up with limited packing space, but I like reading physical books to ebooks. I prefer horror and scifi, but I've read most of the big names that are generally published in mass market (King, Hill, Barker, Simmons, McCammon, etc). Totally willing to branch out to mysteries, thrillers, general literature, but I've never been big into fantasy and I have a pretty low tolerance for true crime.
What's going to give me the most enjoyment in a long, cheap, mass market paperback? Maybe something slightly challenging to read? I'm a quick restart, but it's going to need to last me a couple of days.
