It's long been agreed that almost every time a book is made into a movie, the book is better. But it seems that making a book into a tv show has a much higher rate of success, and some have been wildly popular.
One I've been saying for AGES should be made into a show is Uglies, and I just heard it's going to be a show finally. And after watching Bridgerton, I would love to see The Marian Keyes Walsh sisters books made into a show. It's not period, but each book is about a different sister in the same family. They are all in each book, just the focus changes. I think it would be sensational and succesful.
Assuming the showrunners were true to the books, what series do you think would be a fantastic tv show?

Hyperion. The First book is essentially 7 short stories. Perfect for an episodic narrative
