I have been a book nerd since birth. In my adult years (as a 22-year-old lol), I’ve become really keen to Japanese literature, philosophy, and self-help. My issue with the first two is that I am always reading the ones on the darker/sadder side because of my own battles with myself, and I want to read something refreshing and optimistic!
I struggle a lot with mental health, and I’m slowly learning that oftentimes you are the media you consume. So, I want to consume something fun and/or positive, but still with philosophical aspects. It can have sadness, I just want optimism in the end if that makes sense. Thanks!
