I took a long break from Reddit and have compiled a list of books I will be reading (my tbr) in the near future. And I am now back looking for more to add to my list.
I have been wondering what a lot of readers started out reading or what their favorites have been in all genres throughout the years they’ve been reading.
I would like to know what your favorite books from early 2010s to now are. I loved Stephen King: Hearts in Atlantis and Storm of the Century, Meg Cabot: Princess Diaries and the Shadowland series.
I have now become obsessed with Outlander, Shadow and Bone, It Ends With Us and It Begins With Us and that’s just to start with.
To add on, what is your go–to, or comfort book(s) or series that you love?

I don’t really re-read (there’s just so many new books to choose from!) but I remember in the early 2010‘s series I loved were Twilight (sue me), the Hunger Games and Divergent. I also really liked Blood Red Road by Moira Young.
Other than dystopian strong teenage girl MC books I really liked Island of the Blue Dolphins and read it multiple times when I was younger. This book will always have a place in my heart.
I now mostly read literary fiction.
In grade school, my favorites were:

In high school (and still my all-time favorite):
*All You Need is Kill* by Hiroshi Sakurazaka
