Branden Sanderson x Sarah J Maas sci-fi romance recommendation?

So I really enjoy a good plot, with twists and turns you don’t see coming. Where the main character is one step ahead of you, so kinda Branden Sanderson-y.
But I also really enjoy a good side-romance plot with smut.
So anyone got recommendations for that combo?
