Trying to find name of a book

A family member was telling me about a book they read a while back that they can’t remember the name of but she’d like to read again and I’d like to give it a go too. Hoping someone here would recognize the plot and could help us find it again!
It’s about two people who have been trapped in rubble of an aftermath of a building collapse and they know they will die as no one can get to them to save them. The novel is the exchanges between these two people as they are stuck and I guess the talk and think until the day of their inevitable deaths. Seems just like the kind of books I like to read, you know the ones where not much plot happens but you really get into the minds of the characters. I hope we can find it! Thanks book sleuths <3
