Looking for a non-fiction book that talks about how borders came to be (particularly those with political and social relevance today) based on colonial history and empire. I'm thinking of the partition of India/Pakistan, Sykes-Picot, the Scramble for Africa, etc. I've been searching but haven't been able to find a book that specifically talks about borders hastily drawn by colonial empires resulting in long-lasting, and often devastating political, social, economic, and moral consequences.
Thanks in advance!
