    Hello all,

    What a great sub!

Would love to hear some recommendations on action and adventure books that preferably have a bit of a literary tilt to them. Upmarket fiction I suppose, though I keep hearing that word without fulling understanding it.

Here are some books to vibe off of, even if they may not fully fit into those categories themselves:

Count of Monte Cristo (original, full length)

    Tai-Pan / Shogun

    Power of One

    Three Musketeers (original, full length)

Patriot Games / Clear and Present Danger

The Merlin Trilogy (Crystal Cave, Hollow Hills, Last Enchantment)

The Hobbit / Lord of the Rings

Bonus points if a recommendation has a good audiobook version.
