I’m studying for a huge exam in the next few months and I need a book that’s easy to read but will also help me escape. Lately I’ve been re-reading/listening to Harry Potter for the umpteenth time. I think I like it because it’s an easy read, easy to digest, and it just lets me put myself in another world.

I read a ton as a kid but I seem to have lost it over the years. I loved the Twilight books, Percy Jackson, Mortal Instruments, Divergent, Hunger Games, (I also remember loving Unwind by Neal Schusterman when I was younger) and like I said before, Harry Potter. I also really liked game of thrones but I don’t think I could follow all the story lines/family trees right now. I think the utopia/dystopia theme is pretty interesting too. Please help 🙂

A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking by T. Kingfisher. Cozy, lighthearted read that starts with a murder.
