getting back into reading-need suggestions!

as the title says, I have just started reading again after being one of those "gifted" kids that just stopped around 10-11 and struggling to read physical books. I eventually just let myself read audiobooks and I am enjoying it again ! however I am a little picky and after I finish my current picks idk what is next.

I read and then there were none for school and enjoyed it, and then read all of the hunger games and catching fire over the last like 3 or 4 days I sped through them I am INVESTED (i cant shut up about them to my friends help) and just waiting to start the next. I also read tress of the emerald sea which I also really liked, I liked the general fun and lighthearted tone of the plot and tress' character specifically. anything similar to those would be greatly appreciated.

I struggle because I do not like heavily cliche romance like the kind where it doesn't even really make sense its just there because that's what sells if that makes sense? I do like when the characters actually make sense and its a nice sweet story. I also don't want to read anything "spicy" 😭 other than that I like just about anything. or at the very least I will try it out. any favorite series or books or anything I should read I'll check them out!
