I'm looking for some book recommendations and would love your input. I'm particularly interested in short detective stories and espionage tales. Ideally, I'm looking for collections or anthologies that feature gripping, well-crafted plots with clever twists and engaging characters.
Do you have any favorites that you'd recommend? Whether it's classic or contemporary, I'm eager to explore some great reads in these genres.

Check out some of Raymond Chandler and Dashiell Hammett’s short stories. I also enjoyed a story from Stephen King’s recent collection, You Like it Darker, called “Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream.” Maybe more of a detective story with a supernatural element, but I really enjoyed it.
