I'm looking for what I think is called magical realism, but in children's books. Something like *The House With the Twisting Passage* by Marion St. John Webb, where a little girl finds that her imaginary friends have come to life. Or *The Cat in Grandfather's House* by Carl Henry Grabo, about a little girl who goes to stay in a spooky house where the furniture comes to life at night. A last example is Edith Nesbit's fantasy works, where children discover magical beings and/or travel back in time. Are there any other examples of this that you can recommend?
