I'm reading tender is the flesh right now, which is like the epitome of this. Perhaps also choke by palahniuk or maybe naked lunch. I think the theme of willful blindness in tender is the flesh is a biting social commentary. Books that take a deluzian approach (if I'm using that term right lol), that draw absurd but revealing satirical comparisons. I guess I'm looking for books with outlandish and horrifying premises that just roll with it. I've already read a lot of the staple English class required reading dystopias before. 1984 was lame asf and fahrenheit 451 made me feel preached at, but I loved brave new world for some reason (drugs) and I went through a phase where I reread the metamorphosis every time I felt a bit vermin-like, which was very often back then. Anyway, thank you all for your sick and twisted recommendations.

A dose of Hubert Shelby Jr would meet your requirements. Last Exit to Brooklyn or Requiem for a Dream are horror shows with abhorrent characters and horrendous storylines. Writing can be a bit hard, but well worth it IMO.
