Hi,
I recently finished reading One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest – I tend to get crappy paperbacks in the charity shop for <=£1 and then buy a nice hardback if I enjoy the book enough to want my own version (crappy one goes back to the charity shop).
The paperback I read had strange little illustrations in it, that I later found out were drawings the author had done during his time as an orderly himself in a mental institution that we're added into the book.
I really enjoy the addition of these drawings, I think they really add to the vibe.
I've been looking for a hardback but it's unclear if any of the ones I have seen have the drawings also.
Does anyone know of a nice looking hardback version of the book with the drawings included?
