I loved reading as a kid. I was super into fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction, dystopian stuff. I’ll tell you my favorite books when I was younger and I’d love some suggestions on some now. I’m only 25 for context so I suppose I’m still a YA lol. Thanks!
I loved “The Giver”, some sort of books called like “The Alchemist” or something, um, I thoroughly enjoyed The Hunger Games trilogy, funnily enough historical fiction like “All Quiet on the Western Front”, “Hatchet”, I LOVED Percy Jackson, “A Wrinkle in Time” was a favorite as a child, Harry Potter was hard for me to focus on for some reason as were the classics like “1984” and “The Great Gatsby”. I have horrid ADHD and it’s like every once in a while I would find a book and get hooked, but I had to get that nonsop, finish in one day, page-turning hook to ever finish a book. “The Giver” is the only book I’ve read more than once. Besides for some reason I can read “A Christmas Carol” every winter so make that make sense. So if you can find me one of those, it’s a great accomplishment.
