Hello, need book suggestions for something that can increase my emotional or sensitivity threshold

I am constantly affected by people around me, the way they react, or the way they don’t react.

If you know of a book that helped you, I would be so grateful for your recommendation.

      Hmmm, I think reading:

      1. How to win friends and influence people by Dale Carnegie (Shows compassion and proper approach to respond and to react. It’s considered one of the best book in communication and business)

      2. Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman (Teaches and reminds readers that everyone sees and perceives love in different ways. A good eye opener to relationships that we have with the people around us)

      3. The Spirit of Kaizen by Bob Maurer (Kaizen is originally a manufacturing foundation that has principles revolving around improving a system. This book specifically revolves around the perspective that kaizen can be applied in life and how small changes can greatly influence our life in every possible way. It shows how small behavior can impact people in a negative way even if we don’t mean to make them feel that way)

      4. Blink, the power of thinking without thinking by Malcolm Gladwell (This books shows how we thin slice or we quickly jump into conclusions about people we don’t know or topics we don’t understand based on the limited information we have. We also do this in other things in life and most of the time, we are unaware of it. The author goes more in-depth about how information affects us both consciously and unconsciously. I’m about to finish this book today)

Hope this helps! I definitely recommend going down the list 🙂 You are awesome for reflecting on your own personal experience! That’s the first step of the kaizen way!
