Hii, following are the books which I really really enjoyed, and these books can give you some idea about what I am asking for.
1. Bride by Ali Hazelwood is fantasy romance between vampire and a werewolf. The FMC is just so considerate and mentally strong.
2. God of fury by Rina Kent is a mxm dark romance ( we love a good boys love). Brandon has my heart.
3. Reign and ruin is fantasy romance which has mages and politics. The FMC is so so badass and the MMC surprisingly is very understanding.
I know these books are of very different genres But what they have in common is headstrong and independent main characters, especially the FMC.
I just hate damsel in distress plot, I really want to read characters who are emotionally intelligent and independent , moreover these books have good smut. The characters who built themselves after they break are also my favourite.
I am a sucker for intelligent main characters so please recommend me romance books with smart FMC ( or MMC in case of mxm).
