I just finished The Sparrow – it really hit hard. That book was painful to read – I grew to love all the characters despite knowing from the start things weren't going to end well…for anyone…but it got so much darker than I thought it would.
The end was absolutely amazing. This one is going to stick with me for a long, long time. I wish I had a buddy I could give this book to, I would love to talk about it with somebody.
