Hi there!
So I´m looking for some depressing books about postapocalyptic world after nuclear war. Something like Metro series which I absolutely loved! I was hoping there are some Fallout (game )books but no luck.
There is not much more to say about so thank you for any suggestions!

It’s french, but U4 has some of those vibes, even though it has a more hopeful tone – it’s more teen fiction than adult too !
The Silo series might be more your speed too!
If you’re mostly there for vibes, there’s some interesting literature and art in the form of TTRPG books, but that’s a completely different experience –
The Road by Cormac McCarthy is a masterpiece but you might not be able to sleep for a week
Swan Song is a great post nuclear war mega-novel similar in style to The Stand by Stephen King, which is also a fantastic post-Apocalypse book just not nuclear
Edit: I forgot, The Postman by David Brin is a fantastic book. This one takes place a couple decades after the nuclear apocalypse, so you might get slight fallout vibes.
