I love pretty much everything by T. Kingfisher, some of it is more fantasy than others but I love that most of her characters are over 30 and there’s no SA so I’m not having my PTSD triggered.
I like smut but really, really don’t want to read anything non consensual or about teens.
I like anything that involves elves, dragons, magic, etc. but also just love a good adventure even if there is no magic. I prefer books not written in current or future times.
I just finished the Memoirs of Lady Trent by Marie Brennan and liked those a lot.
I loved the Inkheart series even though Meggie is a child
