My friend used to read, but he has fallen out of the habit over the past few years.
He wants to get back into it. I often rant about the books I read, and so he asked me to recommend three books for him that satisfy these criteria:

Not incredibly difficult to read (to get him back into it).

Very good books (from enjoyable books to life changing masterpieces).
I already have a few in mind, but any ideas are greatly appreciated because my knowledge doesn't compare with the hive mind of r/books.
Keep in mind- he loves to travel.
