I still don’t figure my taste in books, infact i rarely read and i’m trying to change that… the main reason i don’t read books is because i find myself hardly relating to the stories or characters, but maybe that’s because romance is a very common genre and the most globalized i’d say, and as a gay person i feel left out, therefore romance is out of my list. I’ve read some stories by edgar allan poe and loved them… they felt dark, mysterious, even disturbing sometimes… i really enjoyed reading them for some reason. I don’t know if this is worth mentioning, but i relate a lot more to girls than guys, i’m interested in reading the bell jar by sylvia plath, but i don’t know if it’s made for me.
To summarize… I want a thoughtful book i think, a little dark and twisted too, one that makes me relate to the character’s thoughts rather than their relationships. I’d really appreciate a recomendation. Thanks
