I’m looking for novels written by a fictional character to another fictional character.
I have one partial example: Memoirs of Hadrian by Margaret Yourcenar, which is about Hadrian’s memoirs written to Marcus Aurelius. They’re real historic figures, yes, but memoirs are fictional.
The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood includes a scifi story interspersed throughout the novel that is written by one of the characters. There’s more, but not without spoiling it entirely.

‘A Dowry of Blood’ is narrated by one of Dracula’s wives, addressing him.

Maybe something like *The Screwtape Letters* by C. S. Lewis?
*Lamb* by Christopher Moore?

The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England by Brandon Sanderson… maybe. The main character has a book written by the Frugal Wizard.
